Divorce sucks. Never marry a cop

Today I was thinking..my parents were separated before I was even born and luckily I didn't have to deal with the drama of having divorced parents, but wow. I know this women( no names) who is going through a divorce and I overheard her talking on the phone to someone about how her child is graduating and she is having a big party for her child and the father wont help with the party because the child support is only for "necessities". I mean come on! Its your freakin child! not a dog ...She also mentioned how he wouldn't help with prom or any of the expenses that come with graduating.. and I just feel like that is bogus. I mean really if you have a child why can't you work together to give that child as much love as they can. I mean I feel like no matter how much you hate your spouse you should at least be civil and ACT like you are working together. Now I know men are dogs sometimes ( and women are too), but dag....lets have a heart. and the bad thing about it is he is some big time police officer who makes plenty of money and he had the NERVE to tell his wife.." You get child support and that's all you get" I mean really? your suppose to be someone who is enforcing right and wrong with regard to legal laws but yet you can't even obey moral ones? And most of the time he gets away without paying child support because he is an officer. Marrying a top police officer does a couple of things for you: you can...Get beat, lied to, cheated on, murdered, stolen from, etc...and guess what ....THERE ARE NO CONSEQUENCES FOR HIS ACTIONS.... Word of advice: NEVER marry a cop BE a Cop instead :-)
